Sunday Celebration

29th March 2020

Jubilee Church Teesside | Sun, 29th Mar 2020

Good Morning!

Thanks so much for joining us. Please watch this short welcome.

Worship Together

Here are some songs for you to worship with today.

Today's Talk

Watch today's talk from Raj.

Time to Pray

We would love to give you an opportunity to respond to what Raj shared this morning. If you are watching this with your children, why not encourage them to get involved with the prayer response too.

  • Pray for our church at this time, people within our community and also others that we know.
  • Spend some time praying for our decision makers in Government as well as frontline workers, you may want to write down as many types of frontline workers that you can think of and pray for them all.
  • Raj spoke about the nations and the fact that we are not hearing much from other areas of the world, why not spend some time praying for different parts of the world. You may want to pick a nation or part of the world which you feel connected to. We might not know the situation but God knows!
  • This morning was all about love, Raj challenged us to pick 5 people who we can show kindness and love to, why not pick 5 people that you know, even if they aren’t necessarily in close social circles, ask God to bless them and pray for opportunities to show God’s love to them this coming week.

For Children

What are 10 ways to say 'I love you' without using words? Write them down. How many can you do this week? Keep a record of how you do.

Read 1 John 4:7-12. Write down all the reasons that John gives for why we love each other.

Memory verse: 'Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us'. 1 John 4:11-12

Bake some heart shaped biscuits or cakes. Every time you eat one, remember to pray for someone you know!

End Song

The Wise and Foolish Builder
Building on Firm Foundations
Matthew 7:24 - 29
19th Jan 2020

As we celebrate Baby Thanksgivings Gavin challenges us with one of Jesus' most famous parables. In this story, Jesus talks about two different builders, both looking to build something significant and lasting. From the outside, the buildings probably looked very similar. It is only when the storm comes that we see the fundamental difference between things built on firm foundations and things build on sand. What are you building your life on?
