Want to know more about want it means to become a Christian?

Becoming a Christian is about following Jesus and starting a friendship with him. Perhaps you prayed the prayer at the end of Soroush's talk. Why not watch this short video below which explains more. You can also read the 'Why Jesus' booklet which explains how you can become a Christian.

Time to Pray

We would love to give you an opportunity to respond to what Soroush shared this morning. If you are watching this with your children, why not encourage them to get involved with the prayer response too. 

• Thank God for the amazing peace that he has given you through Jesus' death and resurrection. Pray that every day, you would be able to live in the light of this peace.
• Pray that more people would come to know peace with God through Jesus Christ. Pray that even in the midst of this pandemic, many people would come to know this peace.
• Many people are living in anxiety, fear and with a lack of peace right now. Pray for friends, family and neighbours that they would know a sense of peace at this time.
• Pray for peace in places around the world affected by war and conflict at the moment. 

For Children

Memory Verse : 'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid'. John 14:27

Make your own Storm Experiment - Try this experiment to make your own storm.

Reflection: What do we do when things unsettle us? In God we are promised a peace that the world cannot give, a peace that we can feel both in the joys and in the difficulties of life.  Even in the midst of a storm, we can find a peace that comes from God. What storms do we have in our lives? When things unsettle us, we too can pray for God's peace.  
Pray: God please would you give us your peace in the midst of unsettling times. 

Some things we can control, and some things we cannot control, but we can know God's peace in all things. Here's a short video for children which explains that more.
