Multiple Communities Across Teesside

Tue, 25th Apr 2023 | 19:30:00-21:30:00
Yarm Road Methodist Church

Coming out of the Covid-19 Pandemic we felt that God was speaking to us about things being different for us in the future. We took this seriously and have been praying a lot about what it might look like to have multiple communities across Teesside rather than one large congregation. As a church, we are committed to ‘Going’! We want to be able to represent Jesus in every part of our lives. Whether this is in our workplaces, schools, homes, the places we meet, or wherever we find ourselves, we feel that having smaller communities meeting in different parts of Teesside we will be able to better equip people to go.

We want to explore this idea further by spending four weeks looking at what it would mean for Jubilee to have multiple communities across the area. During these weeks we will discuss what makes us ‘Jubilee Church’, the vision God has given us, practically what it would look like to be a ‘multisite church’ as well as hearing stories from other churches who have successfully modelled this style of church. As will all of our equip weeks there will be plenty of discussion time, opportunities for practical activities and stories related to this area.  As usual we will be meeting all together as a church on these evenings rather than in our usual community groups.  These weeks are sure to be extremely significant in the future of our church so really not to be missed!

Join us over four Tuesday evenings, 7:30pm at Yarm Road Methodist Church (off street parking is available, please don't use the pub car park for these evenings).
